Questions from touring campsite owners
Can I manage tent, caravan, and motorhome pitches separately?
Yes — each pitch type is fully independent. Set different prices, electric hookup rates, dog surcharges, minimum stays, and maximum party sizes per type. Motorhome pitches can be length-restricted; caravan pitches can require 16A or 32A hookup; tent pitches can be grass-only. The booking flow adapts to each type automatically.
How does automatic pitch allocation work?
When a guest books, the system looks at their requirements — pitch type, whether they need electric, whether they have a dog, their vehicle type — and allocates the best available pitch that matches. You can also enable the interactive pitch map so guests choose their own pitch from a visual layout of your site.
What if a guest needs to cancel?
You set your own cancellation policy — full refund, partial refund based on notice period, or no refund within a set window. Stripe refunds are processed automatically according to your policy when a guest or your team cancels a booking.
Can I take bookings for club rallies and groups?
Yes — group bookings link multiple pitches under one booking record. You can assign a group leader, accept one payment from the lead, or give each member their own payment link. Manage the whole group from a single screen in the admin panel.
Do I need technical skills to set this up?
