Multiple accommodation types

Touring pitches, static caravan hire, lodge hire, glamping pods, tent pitches — manage every accommodation category from one system. Each type has independent pricing, photos, availability, and booking rules.

Run a site restaurant, café, or takeaway. Guests order by QR code from their pitch or table. Orders hit the kitchen screen in real time. Supports table service, counter collection, and unit delivery. Full Stripe payment integration.

Feature & activity booking

Configure timed slots for pools, sports facilities, kids' clubs, spa treatments, and any bookable activity. Guests book through the guest portal during their stay dates. Set capacity per slot and daily limits per guest.

Staff roles & permissions

Full role-based access control. Create roles for reception, manager, kitchen, entertainment editor, and feature staff. Assign specific permissions per role. Reception sees bookings; kitchen sees orders; management sees reports. Audit trail for all admin actions.

Revenue reports

Group bookings

Family reunions, club trips, and organised group holidays managed under a single group booking. Assign multiple units to a group, choose one payment or individual links, and manage all arrivals and extras together from one screen.

Electricity metering & billing

Metered electric pitches have card authorisation captured at booking. Staff enter meter readings at checkout — the cost is calculated and charged automatically. Works for touring pitches, seasonal pitches, and static caravan holders.

Guest portal & branded subdomain

Every holiday park gets a branded subdomain instantly — yourpark.holidaypitches.com. Guests manage their booking, access the entertainment calendar, book activities, and order food — all from their phone, no app download required.

How HolidayPitches works for a holiday park

Every team member, every revenue stream — from one connected platform.

  1. 1

Set up your full accommodation inventory

Add every unit type your park offers — touring pitches, tent pitches, static caravan hire, lodges, glamping pods. Configure pricing, maximum occupancy, dog-friendly rules, electric hookup, and any extras. Mark static caravans and lodges with their own descriptions and photo galleries.

  2. 2

Guests book online — every accommodation type

Your public booking page shows all available accommodation with photos, prices, and availability. Guests choose their type, pick dates, select extras, and pay by card in under 3 minutes. The system allocates the best available unit and sends instant confirmation to guest and admin.

  3. 3

Staff manage the park from one admin portal

Your reception team sees today's arrivals and departures. Kitchen staff see live food orders on the kitchen screen. Entertainment staff manage the weekly events calendar. Management has revenue reports and occupancy data. Each role sees only what they need.

  4. 4

Guests use the park portal throughout their stay

Guests access their digital park guide from their phone — view entertainment listings, book pool sessions and activities, order food from the on-site restaurant, and manage their stay. Less paper, less printing, fewer calls to reception.

How HolidayPitches compares to typical holiday park software

Most UK holiday park management software charges £49–£81 per month on top of card processing fees. HolidayPitches takes 1% on every booking recorded in the system — online bookings collected via Stripe, manual and walk-in bookings invoiced monthly.

£0
per month, always
+ 1% per booking

On a £500 pitch booking, that's £5. On a quiet January with no bookings at all, your platform fee is £0. You never pay to keep the system running — only when it earns you money.

Typical holiday park software

+ card processing fees on top

£49–£81/month means £588–£972 per year before card processing. If your park closes for winter, you still pay. Most plans also charge extra for add-on modules.

Cloud-based holiday park management software — nothing to install

HolidayPitches is a fully cloud-based park management system. Your reception team logs in on any device — laptop, tablet, or phone — without installing software. Updates happen automatically; there's no version to maintain.

Some older UK holiday park software still requires a local Windows installation and a server on site. With HolidayPitches, your data is securely hosted and always accessible — even if your reception PC fails.

  • No Windows server required
  • Works on any browser — tablet, phone, or desktop
  • Automatic software updates — always on the latest version
  • Data backed up continuously — never lose a booking
  • Multiple staff logged in simultaneously from anywhere

Who is this for?

Family-run parks, 20–100 pitches

Owner-managed parks getting their first online booking system. No subscription, so the cost is zero in the off-season. Takes about an afternoon to set up.

Mixed accommodation — pitches, lodges, static caravans

One system across all your accommodation types. Each has its own pricing and photos; guests see everything on one booking page and pick what suits them.

Parks with a restaurant, pool, or entertainment

Most booking systems stop at getting the guest on site. HolidayPitches also covers your restaurant orders, pool session bookings, and entertainment listings — your team all working from the same system.

Parks moving off a spreadsheet or legacy system

Switching from paper booking diaries, spreadsheets, or an older desktop-installed system. We migrate your existing pitch inventory and can import historical booking data.

Questions from holiday park owners

Can I manage touring pitches, static caravan hire, and lodge bookings in the same system?

Yes — HolidayPitches handles all accommodation types within one holiday park account. Create a unit type for each category — touring pitches, static caravan hire, lodges, glamping pods. Each type has its own pricing, availability, photos, and booking rules. Guests can browse all available types and choose what suits them.

How does food ordering work at a holiday park restaurant?

Guests scan a QR code at their table or pitch to open your menu. They browse, order, and pay via Stripe in the same flow. Orders appear on your kitchen screen in real time. The kitchen staff mark orders as ready and collected. You can configure table service (staff bring to table), counter collection, or delivery to pitch.

Can guests book the swimming pool and other facilities through the guest portal?

Yes — create bookable feature slots for your pool, sports courts, spa, or any timed facility. Set the number of slots per time period and the maximum capacity per slot. Guests with an active booking can reserve slots through their guest portal for dates within their stay. Staff can manually override capacity with a warning shown on screen.

What revenue reports are available?

Revenue is broken down by accommodation type (pitches, lodges, static caravans), food ordering, feature bookings, and electricity charges — for any date range you choose. You can see occupancy rates by unit type, average booking value, and compare to the same period in a previous year. Export to CSV in a format ready for Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.

Can different team members have different access levels?

Yes — HolidayPitches has full role-based access control. You create named roles (reception, manager, kitchen, entertainment editor, feature staff) and configure which screens and actions each role can access. New staff members are assigned a role when you create their account. The park super admin can see and do everything; other roles are restricted to their area.

We only have 30 pitches. Is it worth setting up a booking system?

Absolutely — and the maths work particularly well at smaller parks. If you take an average of £300 per booking and do 20 online bookings a month, that is £60,000 per year in revenue. Our 1% fee on that is £600 per year. Most monthly-subscription alternatives cost £588–£972 before you take a single booking. At 30 pitches, you are not paying subscription software to manage your park all year — you are paying per booking, only when that booking happens.

What is holiday park management software, exactly?

It is the software your reception team uses to manage pitch bookings, availability, guest records, and payments — replacing phone calls, diaries, and spreadsheets. Most systems also handle online booking (guests book themselves on your website) and card payments. HolidayPitches covers all that, plus the parts of running a holiday park that other booking systems ignore: your on-site restaurant, swimming pool session bookings, entertainment programme, and the different staff who manage each of those areas.

What makes HolidayPitches different from the established UK holiday park booking systems?

Pricing is the obvious one — no monthly subscription means you do not pay during the months you are not trading. But the bigger difference is scope. The systems most UK holiday parks have been using for the last 10–20 years were built when "park management software" meant handling pitch bookings and little else. HolidayPitches was built for parks that also need restaurant ordering, bookable facilities, an entertainment calendar, and a guest-facing portal — all connected to the same booking system, not bolted on separately.
