Questions from caravan park owners
How do seasonal pitch holders differ from touring guests in the system?
Seasonal pitch holders are assigned a fixed pitch for the duration of their season agreement. Their pitch is automatically removed from the touring pool so it cannot be double-booked. They receive monthly invoices generated automatically on your billing date, covering pitch fees and electricity. Touring guests book through the online portal and are allocated pitches from the remaining touring inventory.
Can I set different electricity prices for different pitch types?
Yes — you set a price per kWh at the site level, which applies to all metered pitches. If you need different rates for different sections (for example, if seasonal holders have a negotiated rate), contact us to discuss custom pricing configurations.
How do I manage a club rally with 20 caravans arriving on the same date?
Use the group booking screen to create a group booking — select the arrival and departure dates, then assign as many pitches as needed from the available touring pool. You can accept payment from one lead caravan or send individual payment links to each member. The whole group is linked on one screen for arrivals, departures, and any electric billing.
Can I capture vehicle registration at the time of online booking?
Yes — vehicle registration is a configurable field in the booking form. You can make it required or optional per pitch type. Registration details are stored on the booking record and visible on the arrivals dashboard and QR check-in screen.
What happens to seasonal pitches in winter if the park closes?
You configure your site's open season dates in the admin settings. Pitches are only available for booking within your season dates. Annual pitch holders on year-round agreements can be managed separately from the standard touring booking flow.
