Getting paid: how it works

Guests pay by card at the moment they book, and the money goes to your own Stripe account and out to your bank.

Where the money goes

We do not hold your takings. Each park has its own Stripe account, and card payments for your bookings go into it directly. Stripe pays the balance out to the bank account you give them, on the schedule they set for your account — usually a few working days after the payment.

What you need before you can take a payment

  1. A Stripe account connected to your park — the Connect button on your settings screen creates one for you.
  2. Stripe's setup form completed: who runs the business, an address, and the date you accepted their terms.
  3. A bank account for payouts.
  4. Any identity or business documents Stripe asks for. This varies by business type and country.
  5. At least one pitch or unit set up and bookable, so there is something to take a payment for.

Checking it yourself, any time

Settings has a "Test my payments" button. It asks Stripe directly whether your account can take a card payment and receive a payout, and lists anything outstanding in plain English. It changes nothing — you can run it as often as you like.

If something is wrong, we already know

Every payment problem is recorded against your park, and anything that stops money moving is flagged to us as well as to you. You do not need to report it — but do tell us if you are stuck, because some of what Stripe asks for can only be supplied by you.

Check it for yourself

Open Settings in your park admin and press Test my payments. It asks Stripe directly and lists anything still outstanding. It changes nothing, so run it as often as you like.
