Getting ready to take bookings
Payments are one half of it. This is the rest of the checklist.
Payments
- Stripe connected and its setup form completed.
- A bank account added for payouts.
- Any identity or business documents supplied.
- "Test my payments" in Settings coming back clear.
Your park
- At least one pitch, unit or property added and marked active — with nothing bookable, there is nothing to pay for.
- Prices set for the dates you want to sell.
- Season dates set, since they gate every availability search.
- Your address, phone number and email correct on the settings screen — these appear to guests.
A dry run
Make a booking on your own site as a guest would, using a real card of your own for a small amount, and refund it afterwards from your bookings screen. It is the only way to see the whole path end to end — availability, price, payment and confirmation email — exactly as a guest will.
If you are not ready for card payments yet
You do not have to be. A park can take bookings and settle on arrival while Stripe setup is still in progress. Tell us and we will set that up for you.
Check it for yourself
Open Settings in your park admin and press Test my payments. It asks Stripe directly and lists anything still outstanding. It changes nothing, so run it as often as you like.
